Grenfell Rugby Supporters Luncheon
50th Anniversary of Grenfell Rugby Club’s First Premiership
Date: Saturday 14th July 2018
Time: 12:15PM For 1PM Start
Location: Grenfell Bowling Club
To help raise funds for the Club and to celebrate and honour Grenfell Rugby Club’s first premiership when Grenfell defeated Young 15-8 in the South West Grand Final at Cowra on 24th August 1968, the Club will hold a luncheon at the time and place as set out above.
After the luncheon guests will be encouraged to adjourn to RB Bembrick Field to watch Grenfell play West Wyalong at 3:15pm. This will be the Club’s last home game for the season.
The cost will be $50.00 per head for a 2 course luncheon. The format will be pre-luncheon drinks at 12:15pm with lunch to commence at 1:00pm. Gentleman please; a Coat and Tie.
This will be an opportunity for many of us to renew our friendships and links with the great Club.
Also is will be a great opportunity to catch up with many of the 1968 premiership team members. Members of the team of 50 years were;
